Yunoko Hot Spring village is located in a soothing bay area overlooking the Yatsushiro Sea. It’s said that the 12th Emperor, Keiko, named it approx. 1,900 years ago. The stirring story behind goes that an injured sea turtle came to heal its wounds.
A slight alkaline hot spring with a soft and slimy texture to pamper your skin. Also known as the “beautifying bath” much loved by ladies. Male guests also love it for the sauna facilities. Since it’s waterfront, it contains a small amount of salt To stabilize the water temperature and moisturize your skin.

Kameno Iyashiyu, our public bath on the 1st floor. Our premium baths are spacious so you can stretch your arms and legs. Imagine soaking in the luxurious pure hot spring to relieve the weariness of your travel. We’d be honored if you could find Yunoko your tranquility.
Go up the stairs and be embraced by our open-air spa with a panoramic view of the lovely sunset and night ocean. Our observatory open-air bath is compact, with the silhouette of the Amakusa Islands on the opposite shore right in front of you across the Yatsushiro Sea. We reveal the spectacular ocean sunset like no one else.
